PROJECT
The Rules
The two tracks that make up Rubicon will be dissected in terms of arrangement
The instruments that are present within each part of the arrangement codified
The length of the two tracks and their tempo's will be adhered to.
Only analogue instruments will be used to input sounds - apart from the
Mellotron flutes (due to unavailability) which will be played from an early
1990 digital sampler, an Ensoniq EPS 16+
The tracks will be constructed from start to finish in a purely linear fashion.
The LP Rubicon will not be referenced by listening to during the session.

THE MUSIC
These are the final mixes, edited back in West Cork. No editing procedures were used, or effects applied that weren't technologically possible in the late '70's.
We added Hammond organ, Wurlitzer electric piano, cymbals and Moog lead at Lettercolm studios in West Cork.
