Dónal follows the Celtic Songlines south to the Isle of Man, Wales and Cornwall. On the Isle of Man he discovers the island's close affinity with Irish and Scottish music and discovers a distinct musical tradition undergoing a renaissance.
In Wales he meets legendary harpist Llio Rhydderch who explains the remarkable tradition of the Welsh harp while at the Felin Uchaf centre on the LlÅ·n Peninsula he gets an insight into how the Celts of the area may have once lived.
In Cornwall he discovers a unique Celtic musical tradition that has managed to come back from the brink and is looking to the future with renewed optimism.
Near Penzance he meets with Alan Burton, a gifted Uilleann pipe maker and player while in St Just he finds that the Cornish enjoy a trad session as much as anyone.
